Small Rat Wins Top UK Animal Bravery Award
A five year old African rat called Magawa has to be one of the world`s life savers. Magawa has won the highest civilian honor for bravery because of his uncanny neck of sniffing out landmines and unexploded stuff. He sniffed out 39 landmines and 28 items of unexploded ordnances. The working of that rat is really unique. His achievements saved so many human beings. Magawa can scurvy across an area the size of a tennis court in just 30 minutes something that would take four days using a conventional metal detector.
