RARE KASHMIR SAPPHIRE
French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte’s daughter dazzled among the historic treasures being sold in mid May in auction in Geneva. The Kashmir sapphire 55.19 carat gem was previously owned by an Anglo Irish family. These Kashmir sapphires are very expensive and rare and estimated to fetch $2 to 3 million. Beside their historical value the jewels are also priced for their natural blue color. Emerald, diamond and pearls are having demand in the market. It shows that the jems and jewelry have historical, emotional and economic values at the time of buying.
