No Permanent Enemy in International Politics

Before 16 December 1971 Pakistan comprised of two parts East and West Pakistan. On 16th December East Pakistan became Bangladesh and got the status of a sovereign state (although many fold reasons behind that) relations remained bitter since starting. Pakistan had recognized Bangladesh in1974 but no positive change was observed. India took the full advantage of that situation and tried its best to keep the two Muslim states apart but ground realities and the religious bond worked. Present government of Pakistan under the prime minster ship of Imran khan took initiatives for fraternal relations with Bangladesh on basis of mutual trust, respect and sovereign equality. Both the prime ministers, Imran khan and Hasina Wajed had the telephonic talk and hoped that soon Islamabad and Dhaka will come closer.
