Floods Sweep Cars into Sea
It was the third time in less than a month that Greek island of Crete has been hit by flooding followed by heavy rainfall. Flood damaged roads and swept cars into the sea the most serious damage occurred East of island`s capital Iraklio. In the worst affected areas residents sought refuge on the roof of their homes. Emergency was declared in flooded area. Homes, schools and businesses are also damaged while the area is under lockdown because of covid-19.
