FIRST ALZHEIMER`S DRUG
Till now there was no specific medicine approved in neurological science for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. The United States recently approved a drug called Aduhelm. It is said first to address cognitive decline linked to the condition. Aduhelm is the first treatment directed at Alzheimer’s disease. Aduhelm a mono cloned antibody also known by its generic name aducanumab is administrated intravenously was tested in two late-stage human trials known as phase 3 trials and showed some positive results.
